Shai Hirsch, the Co-Founder & CTO of Okimata, is a leading expert in advanced materials, with over two decades at the frontier of innovation across polymers, metals, ceramics, and additive manufacturing. He spent over a decade leading materials R&D in Israel’s elite Unit 81, followed by 16 years at Stratasys and Masivit, where he developed patented systems that integrate complex materials with cutting-edge machinery. Shai also designed, printed and flew the world's 1st 3D printed aerobatic RC plane. With 10 patents and three novel commercial polymers to his name, Shai is a recognized force in the field. He holds a dual degree in Physics and Materials Engineering from the Technion, graduating with honors.
